I just got back from a week long photography retreat in Mississippi. It was a wonderful experience and reminded me of how important my personal work is. Before I post my photos from the retreat, I thought I should share some photos I shot about a month or so ago.
It was a Sunday evening and I was feeling a bit restless, so I jumped in the car with my camera and drove. I ended up at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, the beach I grew up on. So many memories here, from family days to checking out “the guys” and awkward kisses, to bringing my own kids there to put their baby toes in the sand for the first time. I watched the sun go down and the seagulls do their seagull thing. Then I walked over to Hwy 101 and waited till the Encinitas sign lit up. I have to remember to do this more often, to go experience the world with my camera. xoxo~Annie
