The wedding day was here! It rained the night before and it was still raining the morning of… and although it was a little nerve-wracking, I was determined to stay positive. “The rain will stop and it will be a beautiful day” was my mantra as I walked over to the Moana Surfrider Hotel that morning. When I arrived, Megan was sharing my attitude and enjoying her time with her girls. By the time everyone was ready, the rain was gone and the sun started to peek out from the clouds!
I can’t tell you how excited I was to shoot the details, I knew Megan was going to have a gorgeous dress and of course, rockin’ shoes. A few months earlier Megan had laughed at my idea of doing a “Trash the dress” in Hawaii… she said “There is no way I’m trashing my Vera Wang!” Well, I certainly don’t blame her, her dress is spectacular!
My second shooter was Carrie Hasson, a freind of mine who I met 2 years ago at a workshop in San Francisco. She was capturing the guys as they got ready.
And now.. back to my beeeautiful bride…
The flower in Megan’s hair: the biggest, most gorgeous gardenia I have ever seen
and the handsome groom…
Stay tuned for the big reveal and the romantics next!
